Reviews For A Very Puppy Christmas

Hey!

I do not envy anyone having to buy for the Weasley family at Christmas, so many gifts! Especially when they all start having kids.

I love the idea that they all stay at the Burrow for Christmas, it must be a tight fit but I bet there’s a lovely atmosphere with all the children there. I love that Lily got a puppy for Christmas and her reaction was adorable. I can just imagine Harry trying to convince Ginny to get a puppy when they’ve already got 3 teenagers. A house of fun haha.

This was such a cute little fic, and it was so nice to read! :)

Tasha here for Magical Menagerie and RvG January - Team Red! - I'm also here because it was written for Kaitlin and she's had to take her little pup to the vets this week, so I couldn't pass this recommendation up!

This was such a cute story! I can imagine how crazy Christmas is for Harry, Hermione and the Weasleys as there is so many of them! Trying to find a gift for everyone must be a nightmare. I felt so sad when Harry found the little puppy as it was clearly unloved and no one had cared for him for a long time, I wanted to adopt him myself. It was so sweet for Harry to give him to Lily for Christmas after nursing the little dog back to health. I was so glad he kept him.

This story really shouldn't have made me well up, because it was a super happy and sweet story, but those last lines about the dog's name being Snuffles really got me. It was such a perfect name and I'm sure Sirius would have loved it. I loved this! xxx

As I missed the chance to read this, which was written for Kaitlin, I chose this as the second review this.

Poor Harry, he had to find all presents (so many members!) for the Weasley's while he was very busy, perhaps Auror job? And the most difficult task was left. I don't know why, but I remembered your Christmas socks when I read the spot, "Harry was fairly certain that fighting a dragon had been easier than Christmas shopping for his fourteen year old daughter."

Oh, poor puppy! His fur were missing in several places. Yeah, Harry definitely wouldn't ignore the puppy. The plot, his determination to let Ginny convince to keep the poor puppy, is well written, Lizzie! I like your writing.

Oh, you began the second scene from when Harry tried to focus on his daughter reaching for his glasses, I sometimes use the way, too. We love Harry, don't we? He became a good parent.

I love you let Mr.Weasley say "Have at it!" I smiled at your description of the shaking box. Oh, I was completely knocked out by the ending. Of course I like the rest of the latter half, adorable descriptions of the puppy, but "Snuffles"... I can't find proper words enough to praise what you worked so hard for your friend, Gryffie.

A story for Kaitlin? A puppy? No way could I pass this one!

Oh man, imagine Christmas shopping for the Weasley family! My wallet ran away and hid just thinking about it!

A PUPPY UNDER THE STAIRS! Just like Harry ♥

Kind of.

A house full of teenage angst ha ha! :D I'm glad they all get a break from it at Christmas ;)

OH MY GOODNESS THEY NAMED HIM SNUFFLES! Ohhh my heart. It hurts, but it's happy.
You write the cutest, most amazing stories (is there any angst on your author page? I'm a bit scared to find out now ha ha! But I will, because I'll be on your page all weekend ;))

Amazing work Lizzie ♥

AW!

I FEEL SO WARM AND FUZZY!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS. I'm a sucker for cute little puppies but I'm afraid of big dogs. Okay, I love all puppies but I'm afraid when they all become dogs, even little ones. The barking terrifies me and I had a small dog. Ha-ha. This was adorable though. I liked that we got a sweet shot into Harry's life as a Dad. That anxious feeling when Christmas comes because what are you supposed to buy everyone, especially when there are so many of them? And let's not get started on the teenagers. Yuck. But the puppy was perfect!! The name made me laugh. I should have seen it coming but I honestly did not. I was too wrapped up in your writing.

Hi Lizzie! I realize there are stories with fewer reviews on your page that I should stop by instead, but like, how can I resist a story about PUPPIES. (Answer: I cannot.)

Awww. I have no words, just a big smile on my face :D This is SO CUTE. I love that Harry rescued an abandoned puppy and helped it get back to health. I had a rescue cat for a while and can totally relate, there's no way to not get attached, and I can't blame Harry. Besides, that'd be the BEST christmas present ever! How lucky is Lily?? What a wonderful surprise!

I loved the way you described Weasley Christmases too, with so many of the family there and the rule that no one can open any presents until everyone is there- leads to a big celebration. I have to say though, after Lily's present anything else would seem anticlimactic :P

This was such an adorable story and I absolutely loved it! ♥
