  1. Do you think Lupin might've reviewed with the students about what they learned the previous years or just jumped straight into the lesson for that certain year?

      Though, I think my OC's bogart may have changed since her third year. Her parents died that past Christmas.

      The year might make a difference too. After all, 5th years are being examined on 5 years of work and 7th years on 2, so I would imagine there would be revision at some point during each of those years.

      In Ireland, where our system has some similarities, we generally try to finish courses by about February to April of 3rd and 6th year (our exam years) and then the last few months would be revision.

      I would think there would almost certainly be some sort of revision in 5th year. They could hardly be expected to take their O.W.L.S. and answer questions and perform spells they may not have done for three years. That is the year I would expect revision to be most important in. I would definitely expect the most important things to be revised towards the end of 5th year. Given that they have five years before the first exam instead of our three, I wouldn't be surprised if teachers aimed to finish the courses by Christmas of 5th year, then did mostly revision and exam practice for the last say six months.

      @Margaret That makes total sense.
