For this series of prompts, you will be given a random genre, character, archetype, and narration style as well as an optional starter situation. Despite what you may be used to writing, in this prompt you must use all the provided elements to craft a scene to a story. The starter situation is the ONLY optional element that will be provided. Take fifteen minutes and see what you can come up with!

The first prompt will be posted May 29th.
In the spirit of NaNoWriMo, rather than give you a random scenario, I'm going to offer you up a plot ninja! A Plot Ninja is a NaNo tool my region ML devised a few years ago in which you write a vague plot idea (vague so that it's hopefully a one-size-fits-most type deal) on a card, put it in an envelope and someone else gets it at random. When that person runs into a bump or a block in their story, the idea is that they open their plot ninja and hopefully it helps them get some writing done and gives them ideas. The real life catch is that if you open it, you HAVE to use it. Since this is here, you can take it or leave it. Sooo, your plot ninja is..... *drumroll*
Your MC discovers that something important to them has been stolen and must go on a side quest to retrieve it!
