JulNo Music Playlist

Recommended Posts

I can't be the only one who writes to music! I like to create a playlist of songs that inspire me or remind me of the story and its characters - its soundtrack, if you will.

Use this thread to post your novel's soundtrack!

I have a playlist for The Department! There's a link in my Novel Nest, but I love to show it off, soo..... +here it is! (M)

There's one song on it by Bad Religion that I can't list because of the title :P  but that song aside, the playlist so far consists of:

The Mother We Share - CHVRCHES
Therapy - All Time Low
Elastic Heart - Sia
Drive It Like You Stole It - cast of Sing Street
Bohemian Rhapsody - Queen
Who Are You, Really? - Mikky Ekko
Leave A Trace - CHVRCHES
London Calling - The Clash
Salt - Bad Suns
I Wanna Be Sedated - Ramones
The Kids Will Be Alright, Eventually - Sledding With Tigers
High Enough To Carry You Over - CHVRCHES
Let's Talk About Your Hair - Have Mercy

And I add to it whenever I can! It's kind of all over the place sonically haha, but I add any song that lyrically makes me think of a character, a relationship, or the story in general, and I also add songs that I think Sirius would listen to.

Sorry I'm just really enthusiastic about this playlist :ninjavanish:

I've almost accidentally ended up with a soundtrack for Yaxley, just songs that remind me of the plot or the characters, but it's varied and looooong... so here's a random sample.

Melody - Kungs and Luke Pritchard
Bloodstream - Transviolet
How Soon is Now? - The Smiths
Many of Horror - Biffy Clyro
Genisis- Dua Lipa
Young God - Halsey
Deliverance - CHVURCHES
Say, Say, Say - Paul McCartney and Michael Jackson
Rhiannon - Fleetwood Mac
Around - Noir & Haze (Solomun mix)
