Dear Evan Hansen

Seeing as there's no DeH thread yet, is there anyone else obsessed with Dear Evan Hansen? I'm in absolute love with it. I think my favourite of all the 14 official songs is between Requiem, Waving Through a Window and Words Fail. I got onto the musical through Waving through a Window, but I just identify with Zoe sooooo much in Requiem, as well as Evan in Words Fail.

But, has anyone heard the demos that can be found online for 'In the Bedroom Down the Hall'? It's sung by Cynthia and Heidi and is literally a kick in the gut for feelings and emotions. Wish it was in the musical.

Has anyone seen it live? I'd love to, but alas the US and Canada are a bit far for me to travel. I have a music teacher who is going to see it in December with his wife (along with Hamilton and others 😍) but that's probs never going to happen.

i saw it in nyc last summer! i'll be entirely honest, I'm not super into musicals, and i'd literally never heard of it until my uncle told me he'd bought us tickets and i googled it and discovered it was actually a big thing, haha.

"requiem" is, I think, my favorite song from the entire musical (there's a solo version on youtube from the new actress playing zoe that is amazing). "you will be found" and "waving through a window" are definitely a close second and third though.
