And Death. The impartial judge of man.
In a remote Scottish glen, a castle stands, a castle that has seen a thousand different Christmases. But even those thousand years seem fleeting to the mountains themselves, for they stood before the castle was built and will last after the towers have crumbled.
The bedroom door burst open and there was a cry of horror. Flashes of light - red, white, blue. A jet of green, but it missed and struck the wall. The creature fled the way it had come, as the attacker sent one last spell before running to the body in the middle of the room. "Remus! Wake up! Please, Remus!"
Godric makes a trip to try to convince Salazar to return to Hogwarts. This was a Featured Story for Staff Challenge 2 at HPFF.
