Psy·cho·so·mat·ic | /ˌsīkōs…?ˈmadik/ | adjective | of a physical illness or other condition caused or aggravated by a mental factor, such as internal conflict or stress. Or by severe post traumatic stress disorder from a war against a mad-man.
Hermione thought everything would be simple after the death of Voldemort - she and Ron, Ginny and Harry - they would all get the happy ever after that they all deserved, with little stress in life. Her brain has other ideas, causing her to constantly relive her night of torture anytime anyone touches her, or at least almost everyone. How are you supposed to handle a world where you can't touch the first love of your life or friends and move on past the psychological trauma of the past?

It has been nothing but back and forth between her and Gideon Prewett since the beginning of their third year when that horrifying incident happened (she cringed at the thought), and quite frankly if you asked Marlene McKinnon, she wasn’t entirely sure she was able to keep up.
Rose hasn't seen or spoken to Scorpius since graduation, but now he's in her office covered in blood and they need to work together to save her cousin. It doesn't help that the rest of her relatives keep being attacked and the two of them have somehow ended up as the chief suspects.

I let myself fall into this dream, this unreality, when I’m with Oliver.
But it has to stop, because when I awake I face the consequences.

“And just what would you do in the mortal world, my Queen?” he asks wickedly, a well practiced sneer barely contained.
“Anything I want,” she says evasively, widening his smile further.
“You could do that here,” his voice is low, tempting and she bites her lip hard enough to draw blood.
Cardan’s wet tar eyes locked with hers across the festival. She had realized the moment she’d asked him not to drink for the evening that she’d grossly miscalculated how strongly he wanted to spite her. She was only thankful that he didn't partake in the nevermore that had been passed around by a few of the more wild faeries. They were now stunned in the hedge maze, starry eyed and petrified. Cardan was sprawled across a carved oak throne, his head tipped back, and his spidersilk shirt unbuttoned to his sternum. His crown was slipping down his tousled waves and was in danger of slipping off entirely with one wrong shift. She’d felt his gaze chasing her shadow all evening and a sharp, vicious grin told her she needed to go tend to him before he found a way to entertain himself. She sighed, recognizing that she would not be getting any further with negotiations tonight, and retreated to his side.

What happens when best friends awkwardly get stuck under the mistletoe? Best friends who’ve been hiding their feelings for each other since day one.

The Study of a Second Generation Death Eater
by. H. J. Granger
It's been nearly a decade since the War ended. Former Death Eaters left and right are struggling to reform and reintegrate into Wizarding society. Who really suffered the most during the war? That depends on who you ask and how you look at it. So I chose to ask one Mister Draco Malfoy how he saw it.

If Iris Potter had had her way, which wasn’t often when she wasn’t at her Auntie (technically, first cousin, once removed) Narcissa’s house, she wouldn’t have been standing across from her cousin (technically, second cousin) Draco, pretending that she actually wanted to spend time with him.

Nothing good comes from reeking with pride, but Draco Malfoy had grown up surrounded by family members who prided themselves with luxury, power and a seemingly perfect family tree, if one didn't count his estranged aunt as part of it. He did not know how else to carry himself, so years after the war had ended, he still carried himself with similar pride to his parents and an insufferable air of arrogance.
Something a lot of witches and wizards had trouble with.

“It looks,” he says, and maybe he’s cast some spell or maybe the music has quietened or maybe it’s just him, some strange effect he has on her, but suddenly she can hear him as clear as day over the noise of everything else, “like you’re sitting here watching Muggles like you’re in a zoo. Anthropological. Do you think we’re animals, Andromeda Black?”
Andromeda Black's life has been meticulously planned on her behalf. It was past time she refused the path laid out for her.

Evans was certain about everything, and convinced she had the right of it all, especially when it came to James Potter.
James was equally as certain that nothing in life was ironclad or inevitable as she seemed to make it out to be, except perhaps, for the pair of them.
An eternity, at times, can fit into a handful of years, a hundred kisses, a cheeky phrase.
"Alright, Evans?"
Aesop is credited for creating over a hundred fables, but in truth he wrote many more; however, these were filled with magical beings and beasts. Unfortunately, over the centuries these disappeared from muggle literature and history books. Now, through a unique partnership of a magical latent and a literature historian at potionpartner’s printing, some of these stories have been recovered and are now being read by the muggle world for the first time.
