Hi, Pookha. I'm here for our swap! :)
I've been curious about this story for a while now and so I thought to come and check it. And this first chapter didn't disappoint, I love the premise for this.
Poor George, it doesn't seem like he's lived in a healthy environment, does it? And living the last member of his family he still has, like that, all of a sudden... poor child... I'm glad he has Harry to watch out for him.
Conner's worries about George's ability honestly reminded me a bit of the prejudice against Parselmouths, but I can sort of understand where he is coming from. And I guess George needs someone to take good care of him. I wonder how he will adjust and how things will go from there.
One thing that I really loved in this chapter was the description, it was so vivid, I could picture everything so well. And of course I loved seeing George and Harry's interactions, I think you wrote them in a really believable and relatable way.
I need to remember to come back to this because I'm so curious to know what happens next. I'm so intrigued by this.
Great job on this chapter. Thank you so much for the swap.
Yeah, I keep meaning to come back to this story to finish it, but then other stories jump into my thoughts to finish and I work on those instead. George definitely hasn't lived in a healthy environment, but that will change with his fostering by the Weasleys.
There will be definite prejudice against him just because he has natural necromantic powers. Most of it's justified as necromancers tend to go bad, but maybe George will buck the trend? Glad you enjoyed the interactions between Harry and George. If I were writing this now, I would cut all of the mentions of guns in the first chapter and move it in a different direction.
Thanks for the review.
