Story:Patented Daydream Charm Chapter: Patented Daydream Charm

Another lovely read.  I enjoyed this small flight of fancy that Hermione had.  It was interesting and amusing to see her with someone other than Ron and yet this moment did not break away from canon which makes me love this all the more.  Thank you for another delightful read.  It certainly felt like a day dream You did a fabulous job of keeping it real to keep the story going but yet managed to leave enough day dream qualities that it felt like what it was meant to be.

I also loved the small details you dropped in of Ron making sure she ate and reading the dental pamphlet, as well as the small details to make the day dream so wonderful for Hermione such as the summer breeze. It was a pleasure to read so thank you for this lovely little romp of fun.

Ok, so the first thing that hit me with this story is all the blushing that Hermione is doing.  Aww…

The second thing that peaked my attention was how helpful Fred seemed to be, offering her the tube after she explained about her eye.

“As he handed it to Hermione, she tried not to think of troll bogies.”

Aww....  She’s trying so hard.  :)

Ooh, but this is a fantastic set-up, right after the Lavender Brown incident.  Well-placed! I can’t wait to see what happens…

And I simply ADORE this transition so much that I think I’m drooling a bit myself.  It takes her right back to that moment when… and what’s this? Aww....

And yes, I have to agree.  This IS brilliant magic! Just what she always dreamed about.  But wait…

Dawwww!

I loved the way you pulled everything together and made it so dreamlike, but also real, and had Hermione really get into the dream.  Everything in the daydream is just so well-placed, and I loved that word, ‘nostalgic’, because it describes everything you’ve done here, with a twang of romance, but only the kind that one would imagine when they’re alone in their bed and can’t fall asleep in the middle of the night.  I didn’t expect the ending to be so heartwarming and uplifting, and I can only guess whether it goes somewhere from here, or if it remains as it was, just a daydream. I think that maybe because it was a daydream, she was able to let herself go and really enjoy everything about it. It was refreshing to see Hermione give in to her surroundings and not overthink things to the point of mucking up the experience.  I’m so happy that Fred reminds Hermione that she’s a person all by herself. That was something she needed to hear right at that very moment.

I super enjoyed reading this one-shot.  Thanks for giving me a wonderful daydream!
