This is, honestly, a friendship that I never would have considered but at the tender age of six and eight (as you said before their parents’ ideal are truly ingrained in them) I can definitely see the possibility. I particularly like the way you portrayed Narcissa Black. She is every bit of the regal eight year old that I expected, but we get a glimpse of the soft heart that is hidden deep inside, no doubt a product of her time with her eldest sister. A woman, who throughout the book, put on airs of superiority when it came down to the end, to what is truly important, she chose life over death and love for her son over allegiance to the Dark Lord. The stuffed animals they picked were perfect and I love how Narcissa put aside money for friendship. We know what happened to the stuffed dragon. I wonder what ever happened to that lion.
