Hi esmeraude, here with your requested review, only a little bit late! :s
Okay so your main concern with this story was that is was told in the way of a grocery list written by the Potter-Weasley family, with most of it by the kids, and you were unsure of how it works, essentially. I am here to tell you that I truly quite enjoy it! The only thing that logically makes me think is how big is this paper they're writing the grocery list on?? :P
But really, I think this works quite well as a cute light snapshot of the life the Potter-Weasley clan leads. The different type-face for the font also helps to differentiate the three kids. James is definitely the oldest and flaunts it and his "knowledge" of the world as a teenager which is funny and very much like James. Albus of course is a little bit sneakier and sly with his notes, something I've always appreciated when people write him. Lily is a little spitfire and I just love how you've written her here because she knows more than she lets on about James and Albus and I just absolutely adore their whole dynamic! This format is honestly such a nice, straightforward way of writing about these three without some long, extended narrative and for me personally, it works really well. I think you should expand this grocery list format to other families/couples because it's a neat idea that's new and different!
Overall, great job with this and with keeping everyone straight in all of the different typefaces and such! Feel free to drop by my review thread whenever you'd like. :)
Huh. I've never read a grocery list fic before. This is really cute :)
