Hi, Nicole. I stopped by waiting for a moment when typhoon mess would be over. (House Cup Opener)

Since I've heard about Caribbean magical people who came from Africa, sadly taken as slaves and stayed in French-Caribbean colonial islands, I had an interest so I started reading this story last night. I didn't know they were influenced by French vampire folktales. The story you created is very original and I was very impressed by the protagonist's motive to eat the person who wanted to finish their life willingly.

I don't know why, but I remembered the last moment of Ariana. I think you tried to express the border between death and living of humans. As a whole, the impression is so intense, however you added a kind of relief, Eleanor waited for the person was ready for their death.

I was surprised at the end note as well. The title was taken from James Joyce's first novel.  I wonder how you tried to connect Stephen in the book with your protagonist, Eleanor. I need to think about it.
