Hi, this is for the Magical Menagerie review.
I love the relationship triangle between Draco, Harry and Hermione. It’s fun and frivolous but obviously very tight and supportive. Although, with some of the things Harry says, I almost wonder if he isn’t a bit in love with her, also. I also love the way they mess with the obnoxious journalists. The Daily Prophet so deserves it!
I can’t believe Harry and Draco asked her to mother them not a child but children! (I guess the wizarding world hasn’t heard of artificial insemination.)
Ron was an interesting tidbit. I wonder if he’ll be a complication or just a side note from her past.
And, of course, we have the hero (or is that villain?) return. I love the cliffhanger ending.
Great description, especially those suggesting sexual tension or possibilities.
2019 HC Magical Menagerie Review!
Hey, love! It has been far, far too long since I’ve read your gorgeous work. So I thought I’d stop here, since you always write my OTP so well :)
This was a super interesting start. I can’t wait to find out what brought them to that moment. Why was she drinking? How did she get him into bed with her. What the heck was that thing he gave her afterwards? I have so many questions!
I loved the way that tou wrote the scene. It very much felt like the thought process of someone who had been drinkng. But then you also got a clear picture of what was going on between them, and Hermione’s feelings in those moments. We could very much see what was going on, and it wasn’t dependent on being super graphic.
I feel like Snape would have been horrified learning that she was a virgin, and didn’t tell him. So I do understand his reaction. And he certainly wouldn’t be Snape if he wasn’t cold and cruel about it, either. Which he definitely was here. I felt bad for Hermione. That would suck having your first time end so horribly. But, she should have told him.
I’m super interested to see how they got there to begin with, and what will happen next with these two. It wouldn’t be a Snamione if the road to their happiness was easy. And from this opening chapter, I sense a lot of delicious angst coming our way. I’m definitely going to be coming back to read on! Loved it so far!
