CHELTS! Omg!

You slayed me with the Persephone/Hades fic and NOW you've brought me my favorite of all time Aphrodite and Hephaestus! <3 I'm genuinely gonna die of happiness.

I love how comfortable she is with him. I really get great vibes as soon as she walks into his domain of the forge.

I really love the way that she views him. It’s just beautiful and there’s so much love and adoration seeping through every word. It’s perfect! She really values his skill and creativity and his mind.

I also really enjoy how despite how complementary they are to each other, they also seem to be each other’s foils. Where she’s soft beauty, he’s hard edges and scars.

This was another really nice, fluffy piece!

I’m dying to know, will you write anymore mythology stories? If so, who can we expect next?

Happy holidays,

Paula

Hi! I stopped by after seeing your update in Ravenclaw CR. Team Blue!

Though I have read a few stories written about Greek gods or goddesses, I didn't know about the ship, Hephaestus and Aphrodite. So I googled about the ship and knew their relationship was complicated. It seems that Hera gave him Aphrodite to be released from the magical golden throne and she knew Aphrodite would betray him later, disliking his feature or the limbs of his body. However, you set the pair as the best and ideal pair. It is beautifully written. You have an artistic talent in describing Aphrodite's mind and Hephaestus and his forge. I enjoyed imagining the volcanic Greek god and his workplace in your story.

It is new to see Aphrodite's admiration towards Hephaestus, 'cause in general Greek or Roman mythology, she hates him and comes to love the other god such as Ares, the god of war. So it is unique that you set the ship as the best couple. I like it. I felt her strong emotion, passion and modesty with your powerful expression. I am relieved to find you avoided mentioning the scene she was humiliated by Hephaestus, according to the other mythology, she was caught by him when she had an affair with the other god (sorry, if my knowledge is wrong.)

Many kudos on your artistic work.

Author's Response:

Thank you! I tried to present it as a -yeah she didn’t want to be there, and yes she went behind his back with ares, and Hermès, and many others, but he was still there. And he still adored her in his own way. Not with words, but with deeds. I tried to show them growing into each their. I’m glad you liked it. Thank you!
