Hey. Kat here.
Hope you like my writing and really. Feel free to leave feedback. I promise that I don't bite. Mostly. CC is the only way to improve. :)
Emotions were never Jin’s strong suit. At least, not when it was their emotions in question. Elza was the best out of the Roche triplets for that, but she wasn’t there to do it, and Jin didn’t plan to break the news to their brother while sober. Not when they were barely keeping it together themself.

Just my collection of poems I decided to put in one place rather than upload on their own. :)
Thank you Starfeather for the banner!
"They say words can't hurt you, yet they do. Like a thousand hot knives carving each letter into your slowly beating heart."

The client told them it’d be easy. Right in and right out with the loot. Then they could retire. Maybe settle down together. Adopt a kid or two and get out of that small Kentucky hell hole.
Next thing they knew there was a guy’s plastic wrapped corpse hidden in the bed of their F-150.
An origin story for wizards and witches. For the Wizard Tales from Many Lands challenge.
Sirius Black escaped the inescapable, and is experiencing emotions he hasn't gotten the chance to feel in a very long time. Yet, with Aurors on his tail, there isn't much time to waste.
Banner by me, book three from Sirius' POV. Currently being held as a oneshot about his escape, until other stories are done, and stands alone as such fairly well.

Five year old Harry James Potter of Number Four Privet Drive isn't normal, that much he knows. Not that he's ever been told exactly why he isn't normal. His aunt and uncle simply told him it was a fact, and that was all there was to it.
Yet, sometimes he'd dream of a hero, swooping in and taking him far away from his relatives. But that was only a dream. A dream and nothing more.
Luna Lovegood never understood the point of sadness. She'd felt it, of course. That's a given when fighting a war. Yet she still had to wonder about the reason for it all. Why feel that way when it never changed what happened? It won't bring your friends back, and it certainly doesn't make you feel better. Smile or cry. Laugh or hide. That's what her mother always used to say.

They say it's always the most beautiful flowers that bud the smallest, bloom the latest, and wilt the fastest. A Lily is no exception...

Hope is like a flickering candle. It can be snuffed out, but it can also be relit.
The Christmas Eve before Sirius' escape, an unlikely encounter with two young Aurors drags up memories of a time thought forgotten long ago...
Beautiful banner by @angelic!
It felt like a dream, and as he arched high into the air, Harry was the only one he could see, his face wide in shock as his Godfather tumbled into the veil. He failed. Sirius promised to protect him, and he failed...
For The Angst Galore Challenge and The Terry Pratchett Quote Challenge. Winner of the second.
"It is often said that before you die your life passes before your eyes. It is in fact true. It's called living."-chosen quote.
Amazing banner by amoretti on TDA!
He'd become like a brother to you, had he not? A brother in all but blood...and perhaps even that. It was sealed with knife and oath. The clasping of hands and mix of crimson. Albus, you fool. You'd thought it was all figured out. That you'd run off and everything else would fall into place. It didn't.
Written for Angst galore, Every Word Counts, Banner(look above), Character Death, and Second POV challenges. Thank you @patronus_charm for the image!
Snape wasn't the only Death Eater to turn his back on Lord Voldemort for love. No, there was another seeking his redemption. From his first mission as a Death Eater to his very last breath, this is the story of Regulus Black...

History speaks to us of four friends, a school they together founded, and a division that still echoes through the stone halls of Hogwarts today. Yet, that great castle was never truly the beginning, and most certainly wasn't the end. Maybe, it's time to find out what the history books didn't tell you.
Amazing banner by just.a.willow.tree on the HPFT forums!
A prose piece exploring what it feels like to live with depression.
"I'm broken." The statue mumbled as he traced the cracks along his back. "Tossed away and left to crumble."
The old man smiled at the statue, sitting on a bench and letting his cane lean beside him.
"Not broken, just scarred and scratched, but that makes you even more beautiful to me.
"This is the story of a girl named Emily. Perhaps you've heard of her, and then again maybe you haven't. If you hadn't met her, allow me to introduce you to the one many know simply as, "The Book Girl"."
Thank you to ShadowRose for the beatiful banner gift!
