nott theodore

I apparently haven't posted here since the very start of the year, but I have been reading!  (Slowly, until this last week - I'm hoping that I'm getting back to it finally!)  I'm loving seeing what everyone else has read and is planning to read, though - there are definitely a few things on my reading list that people here have already read :)

Read

1. Gut Symmetries by Jeanette Winterson

2. The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins

3. The Upside of Unrequited by Becky Albertalli

9. Extraordinary Means by Robyn Schneider

10. City of Stairs by Robert Jackson Bennett

17. How to Stop Time by Matt Haig

Reading slumps are the actual WORST. I had one in May and it made me very sad. I didn't enjoy HoO nearly as much as I thought I would. I read the first two shortly after finishing PJO, and it just didn't hold up to the first series, unfortunately. I then gave Magnus Chase a go, and I think RR stories are no longer for me. It felt a little weird letting go of an author whose books I loved so much, but life's too short to not read books you don't really enjoy.
