aww, I didn't even consider that conversation between Inej and Nina. And I love how Nina then defends him to Jesper, girrl solidarty :) and kaz can get some, too
AHAHAHH that thing with your gloves!!!! i can't believe you just did that to me. i can't even imagine what that thing would be lol. Jesper's reaction is totally appropriate and i would really love some follow up on this situation. because also, kaz's reaction would kill me.

lol of course Kaz can come to the right conclusion about their break up. sometimes his knowledge is infuriating, and i think he knows that lol. Idk if I could put up with it haha.
AHH yay a scheme date <3 I love that this is their version of romance and they are just going to go with it now. Also, Kaz's thoughts that Inej is too good for him to pretend to be mad at, and he sucks, my heart </3 he's so confident but it hides so much i just can't. (and the return of Wylan and Jesper filrting always pelases me)
it seems that the smoke bomb worked so well that it resulted in another step in their relationship: a heart in the chat name :))) I'm blushing, I love them. I also agree tha,t unfortunately, Nina and Matthias are the vanilla couple

Yay taylor songs. I totally agree that Nina is 22, because she is alwyas feeling herself, which is just what she should do <3 And 'everything has changed' is also perfect for matthias <3 my perfect old married couple
lol thank you for bringing the fake break up back into this!! i totally forgot, and also i love that Wylan is like looking forward to pretending to be mean for once in his life <3 HAHAHA i didn't eve nthink about the fact that they didn't tell their friends honestly. Nina's treaction was so on point, and Kaz threatening to hurt Jesper was great as well. But I really love the callback to the throwing of things (strawberry at goose, shoe at jesper <3)
(kaz, shut up, meet the family <3 but also, i get the hesitation, but also, you love each other)

AHHH okay that explanation was heartbreaking, because she really wants to be with Kaz and is so excited about it. but also, reading from the outside, how can she not see that he loves her??
AHHHHH double AHHHH because he does! and he bought her parents tickets to see her on break <3 Kaz being a capitalist pays off. I just love when Inej and Nina talk about Kaz, its so funny to hear about him from someone who like *Actually* knows him really well
And Kaz, you're right, it's more efficient to buy permanent property on the shit list <3

I'm a lil stressy after this chapter!! I know that Kaz is probably planning something special, and I wish that he would tell Inej, because I don't like how fraught everything is!!! grr AHHH what happened at lunch? How can you do this to me? :/ I love Wylan and Jesper's little banter, but my heart can't focus after all this drama.
Kaz trying to defend himself from Nina by saying he doesn't kick puppies, not the best thing lol. Clearly that's not the thing in question right now, not that it ever should be lol
But at least Matthias understands that men suck, what great bi girlfriend energy. I just love Nina and how strong they both are.

I love the idea of Wylan meeting Colm as the boyfriend! He is definitely too calm and friendly to ever cause a problem, and would never be the threatening dad. But of course, Wylan is nervous all the same! (I remember and detest that feeling)
And Kaz is meeting him for lunch! I like that they might compare notes about Jesper or soemthing. He really is such a dad in a way. And it's not all Inej, he's just softening <3
YAY Van Eck (derogatory) is the fucking worst. Like, worse than everyone else they ever faced. I really hated that whole storyline with Wylan, it broke my heart. He's getting what he deserves

Lol this discussion about carpooling is so like them. I love all of Kaz's little dark moments, like the illegal parking stuff, and then you're like "oh, they're school kids and probably shouldn't actually be doing illegal shit" oh well, it's just a parking spot
also THAT HEART and Inej's text to Jesper. I was also screaming (internally) but I can see why Inej would actually scream. I love how this development leads into them being more open with their relationship at the meet. It's so nice to see Kaz down in the family box, where he probably had to sneak in or something else nefarious. We believe in Kaz, even though sometimes he doesn't express his feelings <3
HAha Wylan is finally coming to terms with their relationship, me too, man

Also the key <333 Poor Inej, she really has to navigate Kaz's communication struggles. but we adore him anyway. And Nina helps.
yay Kesper!!I can't explain how cute these two are together, and that he kind of takes away his cool-guy persona when he talks to Wylan <33 That's such a great compliment from his professor, and he should definitely do it!!

Honestly my first thought when cats was making fun of jaspers home and how messy it is wise or why don't you host? But we know why he doesn't host because no one but I know she's allowed in his room and I love that.
And also just for begging Wylan to clean his room is a mood I do that all the time to my boyfriend. And yes Nina really should get all of the Halloween candy because it's better when it's Halloween shaped also Easter shaped I like shaped candies. And I'm sure she likes his costume more than his uniform now lol

Halloween costumes! Jesper is definitely always feeling left out just because he wants to be involved in everything and I totally relate to that. Lol Wylan being shocked and upset at Jesper for not watching them in order is everything. and yay they are competitive about their relationship, that's gotta be helathy lol :)

Okay, the whole girlfriend/boyfriend soversation is so great, because they're all SO different, and I love seeing it from all their perspectives. Also 'bi girlfriend energy' <33 Yes you do have that Matty, you lil golden retriever.
And I also love how Nina gets mad at Jesper for even talking to KAz about it. I guess, maybe he doesn't want to model his whol relationship after the old married couple :))
It's so funny to watch Kaz and Jesper navigate new relationships side-by-side. Like, Jesper goes on a rant essentially to Wylan, and Kaz is a like 'ur my gf, right?'. And also, Inej is like, 'sure' <3 To each their own, I guess :)

HAAHH this chapter was so good. I love that Nina immediately identifies that Kaz could not just ask her out on a proper date. And te fact that they are going to subtly mind fuck with Van Eck (derogatory) is priceless. Also, that convo between EJsper and Wylan about how is father is truly a dick and just a bad person, I feel that
And then oohhh what does Inej mean by the date was "okay"? I mean, I know, she would probably not like to be on a scheme date, but they'll get there <3 And I don't think I've mentioned how much I love 'dad brekker'. But I do also love all the simp names, their friend ship makes me want to give a hug.

Yay I love the headcanon about Kaz having Inej's photo in his phone <3 And also, the fact that it is actually a part of a scheme is so Kaz. Like, he can't just take her on a date. Because then he might be admitting her has feelings. We can't have that.
And yay (derogatory) is going to get some irritation. I just hope Wylan can avoid all that and continue being happy and sunshiney, which is the perfect way to describe him <3
Haha poor Nina and Matthias. You gotta know Kaz sees everything. And then the ending, <333 Heartrender you're cute I bet :) I would also cave and give human food. And babies<333 Matthias you don't know what you do to Nina (and me)

HAAHH I'm dying at JEsper's fake-break up idea, that is such a doomsday mentality, I love it.
And also...Kaz...you've been romantically involved for like a year <3 But we'll let it slide. Nina you can't have waffles for everything. I also love how Jesper just keeps calling him bestie with no hope of a return, it's too cute for their friendship. He and Inej should bond over how little he expresses feelings

there's this thing that you do where you like redirect the point of the conversation. Like it starts off talking shit about Kaz and then transfers to talking about whether it's Inej or Kaz and then all the sudden Nina is getting a dog and it just comes out of nowhere and I love it.
yay more Jesper/Wylan. there little bit of miscommunication is so cute and I love that they keep defining and redefining the relationship because they're both a little bit nervous but they like each other so much Ahhhhhh

ah this is so intense!!! kaz actually having to face his feelings because he slipped up is so <3 i hate how he's being kind of a brat to inej, but at least he comes around at the end. and admits that he really did mean it.
also, we don't have time for your drama!! not whn jesper and wylan are having their own drama sort of, or getting over it. and Nina and Matthias are just old hat at this point lol. and kaz will never not be petty <3

So as soon as you threw out the first less than three, I had the exact same reaction in my head to what Kaz subsequently voiced. Inej throwing out that less than three just galls him to no end. He cannot not reply (like you mention in the end notes), but he sooooo doesn’t want to.
Of course Kaz has nothing planned for valentines day. Why would he? He even stutters in his written response.
Jasper/Wylan goes from a picnic with a terrorist goose - to a firing range - to blowing shit up. If this keeps escalating, people are going to get hurt.
Inej is definitely going to give Kaz a stroke. I believe Nina would know this from when she gave Matthias a stroke doing the same thing.
