Hello, Pix! I'm back with the Magical Menagerie (and all that jazz)!

 

Your sense of humor is amazing, and this is no exception. First of all, I love the punny muggle-made-wizard devices like the La-z-wiz chair and Wiz-Telly, not to mention the entire Wheel of Misfortune idea. This absolutely cracks me up. Voldemort's characterization is both on point and exaggerated to the point of hilarity, which is absolutely perfect for this. Overall, I think the way you've crafted this is pretty genius. 

 

First of all, the whole concept of Voldemort being annoyed and frustrated after a rather dull and unproductive Death Eater meeting, wanting nothing more than to kick back in his favorite chair and watch his favorite show is absolutely hilarious. I also love how the Death Eaters are trying to interrupt his relaxation with whatever information they have, but he really doesn't care to hear it. The concept of Wheel of Misfortune ultimately ending in the death of whichever contestant decides to play so morbidly funny -- it's something I can definitely see Voldemort watching for recreational purposes. 

 

Also, the idea that Voldemort had a schedule, in which he could relax from all his terrorizing and murder (because being an evil villain is certainly hard work) was absolutely wonderful. What's worse is that this is the exact moment when Voldemort learns of Lily and James's hidden location and is what ultimately leads to their deaths, which is sending a tremendous amount of conflicting emotions through me. I'm cracking up and crying at the same time, to be perfectly honest. And someone did die for it.

Hey there, back again!

This seemed like such an interesting series, I just had to stop by!

And if this first chapter is anything to go by, it's going to be haha. This is such an interesting idea, and creates some strange pictures lol! Voldermort just chilling with a cola and watching a game show he comiissioned is not something I ever thought I'd read, and then imagine! 

Is it strange that I still thought you got the charateristics of Voldermort perfect? Like, I got the sarcasam and stuff too but it still seemed very Voldermort-like to me lol. 

This was a really interesting and funny piece though, and I'm intrigued to see what other creative ideas you've came up with! :)

I'm glad you stopped in.  This was written for a challenge a long time ago, where I spewed out all kinds of ideas of Wizards playing games.  This was my favorite one, so I made it the spearhead for the 'series'.  I'm glad you thought he was in character.  It's always more fun to keep these characters right, while playing with them.  :)
