Draco had been watching a bushy haired girl for quite some time. In their sixth year at Hogwarts it seemed as if he was the only person who knew how broken she was, her friends never seemed to be there for her when she needed someone to cry on. He hadn't the slightest clue what compelled him. But there he was crouched in a stairwell hiding his face--and his shame--as he consoled her.

As Draco watches from a distance, his admiration for Hermione blossoms into something a bit more. If only he had seen it in his youth.
In his seventh year, Neville isn’t worried about grades or making friends. That Hogwarts is gone. The only important thing now is survival.
One way or another, he’s going to find out what it takes to lead an army.
