Hello!

I thought I would drop by since I saw this was the sequel to Not Entirely True and wanted to read it upon reading the summary that it was! Definitely excited to read this! Anyway onward to the review!

Ahhh Maddie has grown from what I last remember her and now she has a daugther that's going to Hogwarts? That's pretty cool! I think it's cool how you have the Ministry of Magic witch and or wizard come to their houses to talk about sending Muggleborn students to Hogwarts although Maddie doesn't seem too eager to send Gwen there. I wonder what happened with Maddie to be reluctant in sending her daughter there apart from what she was ashamed to tell her. The conflict is kind of interesting since it seems like a mystery for now.

Can I ask if Maddie and Gwen knew that the latter was going to Hogwarts before the witch came over to explain to her about it? I love the contrast between Gwen and Maddie's personality when they went to Diagon Alley as well as how helpful the wizard in the Leaky Cauldron was. I wonder who Maddie was trying to avoid there. Also is she also trying to protect her daughter from whoever hurt her in the past. Hmm I wonder if this is affecting her and her daugther's relationship too. But seriously I feel there's alot of mystery to it! Ooh I loved how one of the conversations that she listens to involves Hermione or rather her name but I wonder if it's the same Hermione. Too bad she never saw who spoke it!

I'm glad that Maddie tried to help Gwen get through the barrier between Platform 9 and 3/4 Quarters even though it seems daunting at first! Aww I love that Maddie loves Gwen alot and what she said was sweet send off too! Also loving the mentions of Josh, Ron Weasley, and the Quidditch World Cup too!  

Aww I feel kind of sad for Maddie since she's going to miss and seems to be struggling a bit with letting her daughter go to Hogwarts but glad that she met Parvati near the end. Hmm I wonder what will happen next. Will they become friends? Will they help explore what is happening with thepast that Maddie wants to avoid?

 

Anyway, while I was hoping there would be more to explain Maddie's past in the story in honesty, I really did enjoyed this nonetheless! Good job!-Anni
