As always, brilliant! <3

I know I'm beginning to sound like a broken record, but yet again, I can't get over your characterization of Astoria. (And expect me to say it again; I'm sure it'll happen lol.) She's literally everything post-war Draco needs, and the fact that she's so reluctant about it makes their romance all the more turbulent (in a good way!) and interesting.

And Draco is perfect in this. I really appreciate his honesty, even when he's facing past endeavors he's not proud of. That's a really difficult thing to do, and that I think, is the ultimate indicator of how much the war changed him. He's not trying to justify anything he's done and he's exhibiting true remorse. And I love that he's not getting pushy with Astoria to "forgive" him. Like, obviously she's beginning to let him in but she's still showing that resistance and uncertainty on occasion, and rather than getting upset, he accepts it and just keeps trying to show he's a better person. That's really beautiful.

I've been meaning to ask: who's the actress/model you use for Astoria on your banners? I feel like I've seen her somewhere before and it's bugging me that I can't figure it out lol.

Beautiful writing, as always! I love this world your building.

Cheers,

Reilly

There are no words.

I mean. I know I need 750 characters in this review, technically, but honestly, there are no words. So far, this and "Kite Flying" have been my favorites. I just...I love this. I really, really, really love this.

The dynamic between Astoria and Draco (and I know I keep using that phrase; ugh) is phenomenal. I believe absolutely everything about the evolution of their relationship. I love how close they've gotten. I love that Astoria is the one who's hesitant about opening up. It's so often Draco in stories who has trouble, but this series is different, and I really like that.

I loved Draco coming to dinner with Brendon's family. I loved those moments of lightness. And then everything before and after.

The fact that you can show Astoria's vulnerability in such a breadth of ways is wonderful. Her hesitation to commit to Draco, her fears of telling her past, her self harm, her lashing out when she's upset or scared...just, everything. She is so real. She frustrates the hell out of me sometimes when she's not cutting Draco a break, but I love it. I'm definitely way too easy on him, but she challenges him and makes him better and won't let him get away with making excuses, and I love that.

I love the enthusiastic consent. I love that Draco respects her boundaries. I love that he cares about her so deeply and I can tell that. Literally, this series is ruining my life as a writer (Stop feeling bad!), but I love that. I'm going to try so hard to be as good as you at evolving a realistic relationship between characters!

The characterization, plot, relationships, interactions...everything in this is amazing. I cannot give you enough compliments. I really can't.

Best,
Emily

This is so good. I really love their dynamic, and how their relationship is progressing. Normally, I'm not fond of a Draco who is so understanding, but you make it work, and it's amazing.

Their conversation about her scars was done really well. I got chills reading it.

I LOVE the Drastoria shorts. This one was both funny and intense. Can't wait to keep reading.
