Member Recognition
Badges & Leaderboard
HPFT celebrates member achievements through badges and a community leaderboard. Whether you're a prolific reviewer, a challenge champion, or an award winner, your contributions are visible and valued.
Badges appear on member profiles and forum posts. The leaderboard tracks community activity across reviews, posts, and challenge participation.
The FROGS Awards stand as the cornerstone of recognition within this community, celebrating the very best in fan fiction and original writing across every genre and fandom represented on the site. Whether a story is a sweeping multi-chapter epic or a sharp standalone piece, the awards shine a light on the craft, creativity, and dedication that writers pour into their work. Each awards cycle brings fresh excitement as members nominate their favourites, rally behind their ships and houses, and eagerly await the results announced on the staff blog. Winning a FROGS Award is more than a badge of honour; it is a lasting place in the Hall of Fame, a permanent mark of distinction that follows a story and its author for years to come.
Beyond the flagship awards, house-specific honours and community recognitions ensure that talent is celebrated at every level. From Gryffindor to Slytherin, Hufflepuff to Ravenclaw, each house cultivates its own traditions of praise, encouraging writers to push their limits and readers to engage deeply with the stories unfolding around them. Special events, challenges, and activities throughout the year keep the forums alive with energy, offering members opportunities to earn badges, take part in themed competitions, and build connections with fellow fans. The result is a vibrant ecosystem where feedback flows freely, recommendations spread quickly, and no good story goes unnoticed for long.
This is a space built on conversation and camaraderie, where the love of reading and writing brings people together across time zones and backgrounds. Members gather in the forums to discuss favourite characters, debate plot twists, share recommendations, and cheer on authors as their serials update. The archive itself is a treasure trove of fiction spanning Harry Potter and beyond, from romance to adventure to the deeply original, and the community's shared enthusiasm keeps the conversation going around the clock. Whether you are here to post your own work, leave thoughtful reviews, or simply browse for your next great read, you will find a welcoming, passionate group of people who take their fandom seriously and their friendships even more so.
